Puerto Galera:Sunny Beach Resort

Me and my boyfriend planned to celebrate my birthday and valentines day at Puerto Galera. We chose to booked a room at Sunny Beach Resort in Talipanan via Agoda mobile application and get the standard room for 1,600.00 per night with free breakfast.

Here is our simple itinerary for an overnight stay in Sunny Beach Puerto Galera. Hope this will help you :)

• Things to bring
1. Mineral Water (as the price of mineral water in Puerto Galera and in Batangas Port is kind a pricy)
2. Sunblock
3. Extra food (biscuit,candies, chips and breads) - para makatipid HAHA
4. Your cameras and dry bag

Day1

•  Go to the nearest bus terminal heading to Batangas Port. Usually the fare is around 170 pesos one way. Since there are limited schedule of boat rides going directly to Talipanan.  
• When you arrived at Batangas Port there are people who will assist you in buying the boat tickets. Choose the GALERIAN Line because they  will dropped you directly at the front of Sunny Beach Resort. I advised you to get the roundtrip tickets (600 pesos) to avoid hassle on your way back to Batangas port the  next day. You will pay 30 pesos for the terminal fee at Batangas port. The boat ride going to Talipanan is about an hour and a half.
• Before the day of your trip don't forget to confirm your reservation at the hotel. The receptionist and the staff here is so accommodating and they allow us to check in early and upgraded our room to premium deluxe.

• What to expect inside the room
1. Bath towels
2. Soap and shampoo
3. Hot and cold shower
4. Cabinet where you can put your things and stuffs
5. Flat TV with cable
6. Refrigerator
7. Electric kettle with two mugs and mini spoon for coffee
8. Clean and relaxing ambiance

They  have free wifi but on a limited range only. They also have a restaurant where you can eat. They are serving breakfast, lunch, and dinner. They also have cocktails and beers don't miss out the Happy Hour(4pm-6pm) where they are offering the cocktails buy one take one. They have a mini swimming pool at the back of the rooms don't miss the chance to take pictures at this spot. You can walk by the shore to explore the other resorts nearby.  If you want a night life you can rent a tricycle going to White Beach with a fee of 200 pesos.

Day 2

I super love their breakfast. You can choose between Filipino breakfast which is served with Longganisa and fried rice with egg and American Breakfast with Toast Bread with sweet jam and butter  this both comes with a free coffee. If you have additional budget you can try the island hopping just ask the receptionist about the price and availability.

Don't forget to inform the Galerian Lines on the time you prefer to be picked up. After arriving at Batangas port just look for the buses heading to Manila.  

Sunny beach resort is a good place to relax and appreciate the beauty of nature.
